Visit http://www.drivingrules.net/cdl/ for more.
Look around you. No matter where you are, at the breakfast table, at your desk, in the library or in the cafeteria.  Everything around you came on a truck.  The salt and pepper shaker, the pen set, the coffee cup you are holding, all came on a truck at one time.
Truck Drivers are professional drivers and they require a special driver license.  The CDL or Commercial Driver License has hundreds of pages of info they must know. We are now adding practice tests for CDL Students. Check it out today.

Do You Know the 3 Second Rule?

Following to closely is a dangerous driving habit.  To avoid it at any speed, use the 3 second rule.

As the vehicle infront of you passes an object or a shadow on the road, start counting the seconds until your vehicle passes the same object.  If you counted more than 3 seconds you are in great shape.  If you counted less that 3 seconds you are to close to the vehicle infront of  you weather you are going 30 mph or 55 mph.
Try it on your way to work or school today.
